Smile pretty!

I took Anya to get her 1 year pics this morning. She was all smiles and so excited in the waiting area. We went into the studio and I put her down to get her photos taken and the alligator tears started flowing! I picked her up and she was all smiles again. I put her back down and immediately the alligator tears. This went on 3 more time and I gave up feeling completely frustrated. Afterall, I spent all morning getting her breakfast cleaned off her face and hair, getting purple marker off her head (as Ryan thought it would be fun to color his sisters head), and getting her all dressed up in a dress (she clearly did NOT want to wear) that was bought especially for her one year pictures. Upon leaving the photography studio she smiled her biggest smile at me as if to show me she had triumphed.

The tag says what?

This morning as Ryan was putting on his underwear he stopped to read the tag. He carefully looked at the tag and said, "The tag says pull up undies!" which is just what he did. What a smart boy reading so early!

Another Birthday, Please!

Ryan loved Phoebe's birthday party!
So much that when we got in the car to leave he said, "Please,
mommy, can we go to another birthday party right now?"

It rained this morning and Ryan hopped out of bed, put on his rainboots, got his umbrella and ran outside to enjoy the lovely weather. Oh, the wonders of being a child!
