I REALLY can't wait until the day I can actually sit through a meal and eat. This is how a typical dinner goes in our house...
I get Anya in her chair with a bib and give her a dinner that is specially made without milk. I make sure Ryan's food isn't too hot and he has all his condiments handy. I sit down thinking everyone is happy and in need of nothing. Then...
Ryan wants more to drink,
Ryan decides he has to go potty,
The phone rings and it is some useless telemarketer
Anya is done eating (she doesn't waste any time) and wants more which I have to reheat and cut-up,
Ryan needs a napkin,
Ahhhh, Everyone is happy again I can eat!
Ryan spilled a bite all over his shorts and I need to spray stain remover on them right away,
Ryan needs more napkins,
Axel needs some item that is in the fridge but being a man it would have to jump out and bite him in order for him to find it,
Everyone is done eating and needs to be cleaned up.
I am only blogging this so that one day when the kids are older I will remember to appreciate every peaceful meal I have.
