Ryan's last day of school picnic

Today was Ryan's last day of 3's preschool. It is so hard to believe that he has gone through his first year of pre-school. He is growing up so fast.

Zoo

We went to the zoo this weekend...

Summer!

Hurray! The weather was like summer today! Kids had a blast playing in their kiddie pool!

Library

Ryan was in a class at the library this morning with his friends Danny and Grace. Anya had a great time reading while we waited.

Swim School

Today at swim school Ryan got a blue ribbon for putting his face in the water. Hurray! I am so proud of him!
Not sure why Anya doesn't get any prizes, though. : ) Her favorite is jumping off the side of the pool, swimming underwater (with a little help from her teacher) to a little floating island, climbing across the island, and then jumping off the island into the water again. She scared me by jumping off the side of the pool when I wasn't expecting it. She jumped in and went WAY down. I grabbed her and she asked for more! Crazy girl! She absolutely loves the water!

Butterflies

This morning Ryan watched a butterfly emerge from it's chrysalis. It was quite interesting to watch. When Ryan came home from school there were three butterflies. So, we took them outside and Ryan set them free. We are still waiting for two more butterflies to hatch.

Happy Mother's Day

Ryan's teacher had the children sing a few cute songs for all the mothers today. Ryan made me a beautiful necklace at school, too. After the songs the children and moms enjoyed cookies and juice.

In the first picture the class was waiting for one more mom to arrive. As you can see Anya was quite bored waiting.

Emerson's Birthday
