Last week the butterfly larvae we ordered came in the mail. It has been very exciting to watch them. Ryan is absolutely fascinated with the life cycle of a butterfly. He is enjoying watching them grow so much that he pretends he is a butterfly all day long. I have taken him grocery shopping, on walks through the neighborhood, to the
park and he insists in wearing his butterfly wings. However, he wears them only after he has been an egg, larva, and caterpillar. Here are some pics of him painting a birdhouse with his wings on.
