Scan today

I had an NT scan this afternoon in which everything measure normal. The baby had his/her hands up to their face and the heart beat was strong. I'll post a picture when our scanner is working. I did get some disconcerting news. I have a subchorionic bleed which means there is a gathering of blood between the membranes of the placenta and the uterus. In most cases this resolves as the pregnancy progresses. My doctor said this occurred in 9 out of 10 cases and he was very positive in saying he wasn't worried. I will get another scan in 3 weeks to check on everything. The worst case scenario is miscarriage which has me quite frightened! I have been told to take it easy and no more exercise until things clear up. This is hard on me for I love running and Pilates class. However, keeping baby safe and healthy is much more important.
