Kindergarten Graduation

It is hard to believe that Ryan's first year of school is over and he is now a First Grader. Seems like we were just going to visit his classroom and meet his teacher. He has had such a wonderful year and grown so much. He is reading books to me now and writing with so much detail and voice. He loves math and science and understands the concepts so quickly and easily...takes after his daddy and Opa. In fact, he is already telling people he is an engineer. I look forward to watching him grow in his elementary years. I look forward to seeing him accomplish his goals in life. I say this with tears in my eyes. Time goes by so fast...I fear that his high school graduation is going to be here in the blink of an eye. The neighbors are setting up for their son's graduation party with tents and beautiful lights. Seeing this makes me realize that our time with our children is momentarily. They are off to college before we know it. Then married with their own family. So, I will hold on to every moment and cherish every second I have while they are still mine.
Goodbye Kindergarten. Hello First Grade.
